"Enjoy every minute because babies don't keep!" If I had a dollar for every time someone told me that after my first baby was born, well, I'd invest in better coffee or take a vacation. Now as a mom to two, I find myself saying the same thing to others!
Newborn photos may end up being the most cherished photos you own. In a matter of weeks, your baby will change dramatically. That first month can feel like a blur, but having photos can take you right back to all the feels, smells, and sounds!
When should we have newborn photos done?
A.Newborn sessions are done in the first month of life. You can book ahead and plan for sometime in the first three weeks after your due date, but babies come when they want. I'm flexible!
How long does a newborn session take?
A.Typically 1.5-2 hours
We schedule in time for diaper changes, feedings, etc. There's no rushing these little ones!
An in-home session after baby sounds stressful
A.In those early days, you've got diaper and laundry piles a mile high and dishes in the sink from last week. The last thing I want is for your session to be stressful; I'll let you know which key spots I'll be using ahead of time. The house can take a back seat, because trust me, snuggling a baby is far more important!
Will you help me with what to wear?
A.This is your time to embrace what you feel most feminine and comfortable in! Reach out to me and I can help you with what to wear.
Can I still book if my baby is already born?
A.The first three weeks are the most ideal time to take newborn photos. If I can squeeze in a last minute newborn session, I'll do all I can to make that happen!
