There will never be another family just like yours. It's a love story filled with twists and turns, developing personalities, and memories only you share. These photos are not just for the walls of your home, but for generations to come as they capture a moment in time and preserve a legacy. Far too often we parents don't get around to family photos because, "it's just too stressful." Let me take the stress out of it for you! I only ask that you show up and have fun! (And maybe not forget a child at home).

Where do you do family sessions
A.I have a few favorite spots around the Virginia Beach area, but if you have something in mind, I'd love to dream something special up with you! I also offer an in-home option.
What time of day do you take photos?
A.If we're shooting outside, the hours surrounding sunrise and sunset. If we're shooting indoors, whatever time of day your house receives the most light (typically around midday).
I'm not sure my kids would sit still!
A.Honestly, I'd rather catch your children just being children! Their movement allows for a lot of creativity. I'll capture a few of everyone looking at the camera, but but my hope is to reveal the beauty of every person and the connection you share with each other; every family’s portfolio will look and feel as unique as each family. You can expect the session to last about an hour.
What should we wear?
A.First rule: always be true to your own style and dress comfortably. Secondly, neutral colors with a muted pop of color tend to create the best photos. Stay away from distracting patterns, but feel free to add in texture. I always encourage mom to get an outfit she feels like a babe in, and dress the rest of the family to coordinate with you. If you need more specific help, I'll send you a style guide upon booking!
